The 11th Rule...

Who? No, not Who, it's the Smithereens. A band I grew up with who's leader has now given us his last song - Pat DiNinzio died sometime during the Covid crap. "11" is a favorite of theirs, and their later attempt at a follow-up "2011" released in (you guessed it), 2011 should have been left in the freezer. Nonetheless, the album cover was hard to miss.

This is a golf blog - I should start talking about the Rules of Golf. I started with vim and vigor in April of last year and I see that by June, I'd pulled the plug. Way too much stuff was on my plate and the blog suffered. It may be the same result this year, but I'll put in a valiant effort for at least a short time. The Commish has said he enjoys reading these and I do get good feedback occasionally when I run into someone on the course who has partaken of a little of my handiwork. My conservative personal goal is to get all the way through the "Rules of Golf" prior to them being republished in 2024.
